The Snake Run is a timed trail event at Lubell Park in Tulsa on March 8, 2026. Runners choose a three-hour or six-hour option and complete as many full laps as possible on a single two-mile loop on Marys Loop. The course is a flat, sandy single-track trail that passes the start and finish area after each loop.
Only fully completed laps count toward a participant’s distance. If two participants complete the same distance, the tie is decided by who finished their last full lap first. Laps must be completed and the runner must cross the finish area before the end of the race; partial laps are not credited.
The event features stocked aid stations staffed by volunteers, a post-race meal, finisher medals for all participants, and race shirts for pre-registered participants while supplies last. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race and there is a top overall fastest team award. Professional timing and live result services are used, and finish line photos and results are made available online.
Packet pickup is offered before the race at a local running store and at Lubell Park on race day. The course layout and loop format make the event spectator friendly. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
