Course and logistics
The event uses an 8K loop through valleys and hills in the Cameron Park trail system. Surface is rooty and rocky single-track trails, with about 450 feet of elevation gain per loop. Historic average temperatures are a low of 39 F and a high of 58 F. This is a no-cup race; participants must bring their own water-carrying system.
Ruck requirements for the 10 Mile Ruck: runners weighing more than 150 lbs carry a 30 lb ruck; those under 150 lbs carry a 20 lb ruck. Ruck sacks or vests are allowed.
Participants receive a Resolution Run tri-blend tee (order by December 15 to guarantee size), a wooden finisher medal, and age-group awards for 1st through 3rd place male and female for all distances. Additional awards include a DFL award for the 50K and a Texas-made ruck patch for 10 Mile Ruck finishers.
