The Relentless : Bridgend, South Wales

The Relentless is an ultra running event on 18 September 2026 at Bridgend Miniature Railway in Bridgend. It is organised by Mad Running Junkies. Entries open 12 October 2025 and close 17 September 2026. Each distance is limited to 25 entrants.

Course, format and support

The race uses a 10-mile loop. Distances offered:

  • 50 miles - 5 loops
  • 100 miles - 10 loops

Approximate elevation gain is 50 miles: 3500 ft and 100 miles: 7000 ft. There is a major hub at the start/finish that serves as a lap checkpoint. The hub provides food, hydration, and medical support. Drop-bag access, a crew zone, and a sleep station are available each lap. Time limits are 24 hours for the 50-mile event and 45 hours for the 100-mile event. Entry fees listed are: 50 mile £70 (entry only) or £100 (entry and T-shirt); 100 mile £140 (entry only) or £170 (entry and T-shirt).
