The Ramblers Run

The Ramblers Run : Palatine Hills Estate Winery (October 5, 2025)

The Ramblers Run is the inaugural running event held among the vines at Palatine Hills Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. The event offers walking and running options, plus a dog walk. It takes place outdoors and will proceed rain or shine. A portion of proceeds will support a local charity (to be announced). The setting includes grass and dirt paths with some uneven areas.

Race options and prizes

• 1.25 KM Family Walk/Run - untimed; stroller-friendly; includes a gift bag token.
• 5 KM Race - officially timed; top three finishers receive medals, gift baskets, and have their names engraved on a trophy displayed in the winery. Participants receive a custom-labeled bottle of Palatine wine, a Ramblers Run wine glass, and a branded frisbee. Underage participants receive a branded hat and frisbee.
• 1.25 KM Dog Walk - untimed; dog participation is free with donations accepted; does not include a gift bag.

Logistics and rules

Parking is free on the grassy area directly in front of the winery facing Lakeshore Road. The course includes some grassy or uneven sections; jogging strollers are recommended. Dogs must be leashed, well-socialized, and cleaned up after; water stations for dogs will be available. Participants take part at their own risk; the winery is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of property. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
