The Ramblers Run

The Ramblers Run at Palatine Hills Estate Winery

The Ramblers Run is a community-driven running and walking event held among the vines at Palatine Hills Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The event features timed and untimed routes, food and beverage vendors, live music, and free parking on the grassy area in front of the winery.

Distances:

• 1.25 km Family Fun Run/Walk, untimed and stroller-friendly.
• 5 km Race, timed with overall Men’s and Women’s divisions and youth prizes.
• 1.25 km Dog Walk, leash required and dog water stations provided.

Participants in the 1.25 km and 5 km events receive a token for a gift bag; the dog walk does not include a gift bag. Every participant receives a glass of Palatine Hills wine, a pair of custom Ramblers Run socks, and access to post-race food, drinks and live music; non-alcoholic options are available for participants under 19. 5 km awards include gift baskets, medals for top finishers, a youth category prize, and engraving on a trophy displayed at the winery. The course uses grass and dirt paths with some uneven sections, so jogging strollers and supportive footwear are recommended. A water refill station for reusable bottles will be available. Ten percent of event proceeds will be donated to Community Care. The event runs rain or shine and participation is at the participant's own risk.
