The Ramblers Run

The second Ramblers Run takes place among the vines at Palatine Hills Estate Winery in Niagara on the Lake. The event is described as fitness forward and family friendly, offering running, walking, and a dog walk option.

Distances offered:

  • 1.25 KM Family Fun Run/Walk, untimed and stroller friendly
  • 5 KM Race, officially timed
  • 1.25 KM Dog Walk, relaxed route for dogs and owners

Gift bags are included for participants in the 1.25 km and 5 km runs; the dog walk does not include a gift bag. Top three finishers in the 5 km receive a medal and gift baskets, and their names are engraved on a Ramblers trophy displayed at the winery. Participants in the 1.25 km and 5 km events receive branded merchandise.

The course uses grass and dirt paths and can include uneven sections; comfortable, supportive footwear is recommended. Free parking is available on the grass directly in front of the winery, facing Lakeshore Road. Jogging strollers are recommended for grassy areas.

Dogs must be leashed, well socialized, and cleaned up after; water stations for dogs will be available. The event runs rain or shine. Ten percent of event proceeds will be donated to Community Care. Palatine Hills Estate Winery is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of property during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
