The Murder Mile Halloween Horror - October 31, 2026

The Murder Mile Halloween Horror is a haunted night trail event held on private land near Franklin, TN. The event features two named options:

  • Haunted Half
  • Sinister Six

The course is a 1.1 mile loop with about 340 feet of elevation gain per loop. The route uses an old logging road double track and includes two steep climbs with no switchbacks, runnable sections between them, and an easy downhill through a field to the start and finish area.

The event is staged as a themed fun run. Each lap includes trick-or-treat stations that offer candy and performance tasks. Participants draw from a Bag of Tricks each lap and must perform the drawn requirement on the next circuit. Costumes are encouraged and may be required. Loops are tracked using a clothes-pin system. Pets are not allowed on site.

Weather may prompt a schedule change to an earlier night if storms are forecasted. Registration closes on October 30. There are no refunds or deferrals. The organizers note that local wildlife such as coyotes has been seen in the area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
