The Murder Mile Halloween Horror

The Murder Mile Halloween Horror is a night trail event on October 31, 2026 in Franklin, TN. The event presents themed laps around a short haunted loop and includes two named race options: Haunted Half and Sinister Six.

The course uses a 1.1-mile loop on private land approximately 20 minutes from Downtown Franklin. Each loop includes about 340 feet of elevation gain, two climbs with steep grades and no switchbacks, fast runnable sections between climbs, and an easy downhill through a field to the start and finish area. The trail follows an old logging road and is described as a wide double track.

Each lap passes trick-or-treat stations. Participants draw from a Bag of Tricks on trick laps and must perform whatever the draw requires; there is also a Treat option on some laps but participants cannot select Treat for every lap. Costumes are encouraged and may be required. Loops are tracked using a clothes-pin system.

The organizer states there will be no refunds or deferrals. In the event of dangerous weather, the event may be moved to the prior night. Pets are not allowed on site. Wildlife such as coyotes has been reported in the area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
