The 100-mile course uses two roughly 10-mile loops in a figure-8 and includes a final finishing mile. The daytime 50K is described as two laps of each course for about 33 miles; the nighttime 50K follows three loops of the 100-mile course in a B-A-B pattern.
Relay, cutoffs and volunteers

Volunteers are scheduled and perform duties such as road crossing marshals, directing runners on course, and staffing aid stations. The 100-mile solo event and other distances have time cutoffs expressed in hours for completion. Refunds are not offered; the organizer provides deferral options to the following year.
