Ontario Summit Trail Races

FarFetched Enterprises will stage the 2026 Ontario Summit Trail Races at Ontario County Park at Gannett Hill in Naples, NY on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event will offer a long course and a short course; organizers note course changes for 2026 and that the layout will focus on sensible short and long loops rather than exact distance targets. The official course details are listed as TBD.

Race headquarters is at Wilson Lodge in the park. Parking next to Wilson Lodge is reserved for staff and volunteers. Event parking is assigned to pavilions accessed via the park's one-way, counter-clockwise loop; volunteers will direct traffic. Participants are asked not to park on the race course, on the main park road, or in small lots reserved for other park visitors.

Friday options include tent or vehicle camping near the lodges and access to grills and kitchen equipment; campsites and cabins are available through Ontario County Parks by separate arrangement. Saturday morning provisions will include fruit, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and baked goods. Post-race offerings include hand-made burritos, beer, other beverages, fruit and snacks, and on-site physical therapy support.

Giveaways include a long-sleeve race shirt and a pint glass. Awards will be given to overall female and male finishers on each course and to randomly selected participants. The event maintains a single price with no increases and allows distance switching, deferrals, and refunds under the organizer's posted deadlines.
