Rob's Trail Fest

Rob's Trail Fest is a series of trail races held near Canadice and Hemlock lakes in Springwater / Hemlock, New York. The event offers multiple distances on natural trails with a mix of single track, gravel and some paved sections.

The marathon route includes two technical climbs of about 800 feet each and offers views of Hemlock and Canadice lakes. The marathon surface is reported as roughly 50% single track, 40% gravel and 10% paved. The 15K is an out-and-back route that uses the south end of Canadice Lake and includes muddy sections. The 5K is a point-to-point route starting at Rob's Trail Canadice trailhead with an initial short grassy rise, a steep technical descent (about 17% grade for 0.5 miles) over roots, rocks and switchbacks, then roughly 1.5 miles of gravel to the finish at the south end of Canadice Lake.

Check-in and packet pick up are located at 6814-6894 Canadice Lake Rd, Springwater, NY, at the south end of Canadice Lake. Registration fees are listed in a range from USD 48.50 to USD 58.50. Proceeds will support trail maintenance through a partnership with the DEC and local trail projects. Routes may change due to conditions.
