ROCovery Run/Walk and X-Challenge

The ROCovery Run/Walk and X-Challenge is an annual fundraiser held at Mendon Ponds Park, Stewart Lodge / Canfield Woods Shelter Parking, Douglas Road, Henrietta NY 14467. The event supports ROCovery, a recovery organization that provides programs and community activities for people in recovery and their supporters. The event also includes a remembrance for people lost to addiction.

Distances and formats:

• 5K Road course
• 5K Trail course
• 5K Trail course with X-Challenge stations
• 5K Virtual run, any time in September
• 10K Twice The Fun trail and road combo

Several entry options share the same registration window. Registration opens 9/15/2025 and closes 6/30/2026. Standard entry fees listed by the organizer include $30 for most 5K options and virtual entries, $40 for the 10K combo, and a $10 fee for children 10 and under. An early-bird registration price applies to entries completed before 7/1/26. Memorial signs must be ordered by 9/3/26.

The trail X-Challenge adds stations with push ups, squats and burpees; the final number of repetitions for those challenges will be determined by the fundraising total on the event day and announced at the event. Virtual packets may be mailed but delivery before a chosen run cannot be guaranteed; mailing adds $7 for shipping and handling when selected. All runners and walkers receive a swag bag with a custom bib and a race t shirt while supplies last.
