The Mad Miller

The Mad Miller is a timed endurance event held in New Mills. The competition features a circular course that allows participants to navigate several local landmarks within the area.

Participants run on a 5.3 km circuit. The objective is to complete as many laps as possible within a 4 hour time limit. The event format allows for flexibility in total distance achieved based on the number of full circuits completed before the timeframe expires.

The event starts and finishes at Millers Bar on Church Lane. Upon finishing their final lap, runners signal their achievement by hitting a gong and are provided with a drink at the finish line.
