Clowbridge 5k - Spring 2/3

This event is a trail race of 5 km held around a route off the Pennine Bridleway. The course comprises two laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, run anti clockwise from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The course has about 25 m of elevation over the 5 km and is described as fast and flat. The event is open to participants aged 11 and over.

The race is the second of a three race spring series held on consecutive Thursdays, on 16th, 23rd and 30th April. Prizes are awarded in each race and the course is marshalled. Organisers request sensible local parking with a lower car park at the Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir noted for parking. Entry fee for this race is £6.50 and entries are handled through the event entry system.
