The Mad Maple 50K at Hueston Woods is a multi-event running weekend taking place at Hueston Woods State Park in College Corner, Ohio. The event spans two days and features several distances.

Event Details

The primary 50K event has a unique format. The course consists of three different 5K loops. Participants must complete each loop within 50 minutes, with the next lap starting exactly 50 minutes after the prior one. Runners who do not finish a loop within the time limit are eliminated. Completing all 10 loops is required to finish the 50K.

All finishers receive a custom finisher's medal and a code to order a custom tri-blend finisher's shirt for a fee. The course closes at 5:20 PM Eastern Time on the first day.

The event offers aid station support. Complimentary drinks and pizza are available at the finish area.

Additional Information

The event is part of a season pass called the 2026 Pack Pass, which grants entry. Holders of this pass also receive free group camp access at the state park, though they must confirm by a specified date to receive a race-specific medal.
