The Ghostly Gallop Event

The Ghostly Gallop is part of a Halloween race series. The event takes place on 22nd October 2026 at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye.

Participants can choose their target distance from a list of options. They have a 7-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. The course is an off-road loop within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. Each lap is 2.5 km in distance. The terrain includes a hill and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards.

The event is described as suitable for both walkers and runners. A virtual participation option is also available, which can be completed anywhere.

Participants receive a unique, Halloween-themed medal. Medals may be provided in either green or orange, subject to availability. Race bibs are collected on the day for in-person participants, while virtual entrants receive a personalised digital bib by email.

There is a paid entry option for both in-person and virtual participation. A charity entry option is available for a reduced fee, requiring fundraising for a nominated charity.
