The Ghostly Gallop takes place on 22 October 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). It is part of the organiser's Halloween race series and is held on an offroad course entirely within the manor grounds. The course includes a hill on each lap and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. Each lap is 2.5 km and there is a maximum time limit of 7 hours to complete the chosen distance. The event is open to walkers and runners.

Entry, medals and rules

Entry options include an in-person race entry and virtual entries. Published entry fees are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity entry option is available for a £10.00 entry fee plus booking charges, subject to raising at least twice the entry fee value for the nominated charity and raising funds at least four weeks before the event. All deposits and payments are non refundable.

Medals for the event are Halloween themed and may be supplied in green or orange depending on availability; virtual and race medals are the same type. Virtual participation can be recorded and verified via the organiser’s Strava club or by providing proof of the run; postage for international medals may incur an additional cost.
