The Firefly Trail Run

The Firefly Trail Run takes place at Wag Valley Farm in Hendersonville, NC on April 25, 2026. The course is a roughly 3 mile single-track loop on private property, reserved for the race weekend. Each loop has about 400 to 413 feet of elevation gain and passes a waterfall, mountain creeks, and a vintage event barn that runners pass through every lap.

The event uses a timed format with options to run continuous laps for a set period as well as a single-loop 5K. To receive a finishers gift a participant must start and complete at least one loop. The main aid station is located in the barn and is passed on every circuit, reducing the need to carry large amounts of gear.
