Papertown Trail Races
The Papertown Trail Races return for a second edition at Chestnut Mountain Nature Park in Canton on October 10, 2026. The event offers two trail distances that start and finish at the Chestnut Mountain Bridge Area.
Distances
- Short Race: approximately 6.2 miles
- Long Race: approximately 9.3 miles
The short course includes specific turn instructions and marked turns. There will be one water station on course; runners are advised to carry their own fluids or nutrition. Signs will mark every turn. Packet pickup and late registration occur on race day at the park, and on-site registration is accepted until shortly before each race.
Chip timing will be used for both races; timing chips are attached to the back of race bibs and bibs should be worn on the front of clothing. Results will be available live via QR code at the venue, with final results posted later the same day.
Additional details: parking is in the Chestnut Mountain parking lot; dogs are permitted in the parking and trailhead area but are not allowed on the course; a long sleeve race shirt is available a la carte during registration for $20. The event has a no refund and no deferral policy. Transfers between distances or to another person are allowed for a $2 processing fee and must be completed by October 8.
