The Envious Run

The Envious Run is one day in the 7 Deadly Sins series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (What3words - physical.growth.shelf) on Sunday 17 January 2027. Entrants choose their target distance and must complete it within a seven hour time limit.

Distances offered include:

  • 5k
  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Full Marathon
  • Ultra

Each lap of the course is 2.5 km, so the 5k distance comprises two laps. The route is offroad, contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, and includes a hill plus a series of up and downs through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners. Organiser terms require entrants to be aged 18 or over. Entry fees are non refundable.

A virtual option is available for January. Virtual entrants must complete at least 5k on a chosen day in January, receive a personalised virtual bib by email, and confirm their run by providing proof such as a device screenshot, joining the organiser Strava club, or uploading to the organiser Facebook page. Once verified, the organiser posts the virtual medal; overseas postage incurs an additional cost.

Facilities on race day include free parking, free tea & coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilets. Entry fee examples include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
