The Envious Run takes place on 18th January 2026 and is part of the 7 Deadly Sins series. Participants choose their target distance and have a 7-hour time limit to complete it. Each lap on the course is 2.5 km.

The course is offroad, contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill on each lap and a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners; under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Logistics and entries

The race location is Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). On event day there is free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilets. Race and virtual medals are the same type; race medals are awarded at the finish and virtual medals are posted after run verification. Only paid entries receive a medal.

There is a virtual option allowing runs on any day in January with a minimum distance of 5k; entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Verification methods include a photo of a GPS device, joining the organiser’s Strava group, or uploading proof to the event Facebook page. Entry fees are non-refundable. Standard fees listed are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity entry option is available for £10.00 subject to fundraising conditions.
