The Envious Run takes place on 18 January 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). It is part of the organiser's 7 Deadly Sins series. Entrants choose a target distance and have a 7 hour limit to complete that distance. The event is open to walkers and runners; under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Course, distances and entries
The course is offroad and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. Each lap measures 2.5 km. The route includes a hill on every lap and a series of ups and downs that pass through two vineyards. Distances offered:
- 5k (2 laps)
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra
Facilities listed for race day include free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilets. Race bibs are collected at registration. Virtual entries are available for runs completed any day during January; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib and, after verification, the same type of medal as race finishers. Entry fees are non-refundable; published fees include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00.
