The Endless Mile
The Endless Mile is a timed multi day running event held at Veterans Park in Alabaster, Alabama. The park address is 7305 Highway 119. The course is USATF certified and sanctioned and uses a paved, lighted loop that winds past wooded areas and several lakes.
The loop measures exactly 1.00203 miles with about 12 to 15 feet of elevation gain per lap. The park offers real restrooms with running water, picnic areas, and playgrounds. The event is cupless for cold drinks so participants should bring their own cup; cups are provided for hot beverages.

- Marathon (27 laps, 27.055 miles)
- 50K (31 laps, 31.063 miles)
The race uses HuTag ankle chips with backup bib chips for timing. Lap reads are displayed on TV monitors so runners can confirm each lap. Solo runners who reach 100 miles receive a 100 mile buckle and those who reach 200 miles receive a 200 mile buckle.
A staffed aid station offers full meals and made to order food over the event including breakfast, lunch, dinner, burgers, nachos, grilled potatoes, soup at night, evening pizza, snacks, sports nutrition drinks, sodas, coffee, tea, and popsicles. Tent rentals are available for 24, 48, and 72 hour entrants with pricing listed during registration. Parks and Recreation requires vehicles to park in marked spaces and RVs must fit in standard spaces. There is no race day registration.
