The course is exactly 1.00203 miles per lap on smooth asphalt, is lighted, and passes wooded areas and several lakes. Total elevation gain per loop is about 12 to 15 feet. The park offers restrooms with running water, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Parking must be in marked spaces; RVs must fit within standard spaces and awnings cannot extend into adjacent spaces. Parking near the start/finish can be limited on peak days.

Timing uses HuTag ankle chips with backup bib chips and live lap displays; runners are advised to check the monitor to confirm reads. The event provides real food throughout the event including daily breakfast lunch and dinner plus made to order items around the clock and standard ultra fare. Rental tents are available for select distances with set fees. A student discount is available and race shirt requests require registration by early October.
