Event Overview

The XTERRA Appalachian Trail Fest is a trail running and hiking festival. It offers four distance options: a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K Trail Run, and a Halloween Hike. The marathon and half marathon distances are qualifiers for the 2027 XTERRA Trail World Championship in Malta.

Courses and Activities

The courses feature technical singletrack, sustained climbs, and fast descents through Appalachian terrain. The festival includes more than racing, with live music and local vendors. A family-friendly Halloween Hike is offered in the afternoon.
