Fleet Feet Birmingham XC 2-Miler presented by Brooks

The event is a 2 mile cross country time trial held on July 21, 2026 at Veterans Park in Hoover, Alabama. It features three separate heats: Boys, Girls, and an Open division. Boys and Girls heats include both middle and high school athletes.

The format is intended for local middle and high school cross country teams and individual cross country athletes. The Open division is available for non cross country runners who want to test their two mile times.

Registration is priced at $20 per individual. Team pricing offers a five dollar discount per participant when five or more runners register together. Packet pickup includes a swag bag for each participant.

The event uses an established cross country course at Veterans Park. On site amenities listed by the organizer include a Fleet Feet and Brooks pop up shop with special edition shoes and apparel, vendor stalls from local businesses, shirt sales specific to this event, a post race awards ceremony with music, and a vendor village that connects teams and coaches. A free multi-loop group run at Old Camp Cosby Lake with ten prayer stations, one-lap length 1.55 miles, dog tag lap counting, and on-course water stations.
