The Drop - Newcastle (winter)

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom • 7 Dec 2025

Participants in The Drop - Newcastle trail run will face one of the most challenging races in the UK. The event offers 15 and 10-mile options, where participants can choose to run solo or as part of a team. Upon registration, all electronic devices and money are handed over in exchange for a race number and an emergency bag. Participants are blindfolded and taken by bus to a drop location, from which they must find their way back to the event center without the aid of a map, GPS, or compass. The event emphasizes self-sufficiency, with a 4.5-hour cutoff time for the 15-mile option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
