The Douglas Dash

The Douglas Dash is an urban trail run held as part of the 2026 Port Douglas Carnival on Sunday, 24 May 2026. The course runs across beach sand and dirt track surfaces, beginning at Four Mile Beach Park off Barrier Road in Port Douglas and finishing at Rex Smeal Park in Port Douglas.

The advertised distance is approximately 5 km. Entry fees vary by membership and age: non-club members 18 and over $25.00, club members 18 and over $16.25, non-club members under 18 $15.00, and club members under 18 free. A tailor-made medal is included with the race fee.
