The Douglas Dash is an urban trail run held as part of the 2026 Port Douglas Carnival on Sunday, 24 May 2026. The course runs along beach sand and dirt track and covers approximately 5 km. The race starts at Four Mile Beach Park off Barrier Road in Port Douglas and finishes at Rex Smeal Park, Port Douglas.

Registrations are not open yet; registration closes 23 May 2026. Entry fees are tiered by club membership and age: non-club members 18+ $25.00, club members 18+ $16.25, non-club members U18 $15.00, and club members U18 free. A tailor-made medal is included with the race fee. Dogs on a leash are permitted; a medal for a dog can be purchased, with proceeds donated to YAPS.
