Starting near Kennedy Highway in Kuranda, the course winds through diverse landscapes, including native rainforests and eucalypt forests, before reaching Port Douglas. Participants can compete solo or in teams of 2-4 runners. The race showcases the stunning Mowbray National Park, part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, and features the iconic Black Mountain.
