The Darklink / lightlink is a 10k headtorch run scheduled for 29 December 2025 in Shoreham. The route is described as a flat out-and-back along the Downslink, starting at the Toll Bridge, going north over the South Downs Way bridge towards Bramber and returning to the start. The event issues a Darklink medal; some medals from the previous year will also be available.

Logistics and entries

There is an aid station at the halfway point. The course is fully marshalled and a 4x4 pickup vehicle will be on site. Chip timing is provided by Timing Monkey. Headtorches are mandatory. Entry fees are shown as £22 (attached) and £24 (unattached). Minimum age to enter is 16. Entries open on 21 October 2025 and close on 22 December 2025; the entry list showed 150 participants at the time of listing. An ARC permit has been applied for and was pending.
