The CANUM is a 40-mile ultra marathon along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, starting at Fourteen Locks and ending at Brecon Walk Way. The route follows the beautiful Usk Valley through the Brecon Beacons National Park, showcasing the peaceful and rural Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal. The event does not have time limits, allowing participants to enjoy the adventure at their own pace. Checkpoints along the route are fully stocked, and included with the entry fee are a Pegasus Medal, post-race care, and a professionally organized event experience.
