The Cancer Kickers Big Buffalo 50 : April 3, 2027, Shelby Farms Park

The event offers multiple race distances at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis on April 3, 2027. Available distances include:

  • 50 Mile
  • 50K
  • 50K Relay
  • 10K

Course configuration is lap based: the 50 Mile course is eight laps, the 50K and relay courses are five laps, and the 10K is one lap. Official cutoffs are given as elapsed times on course: the 50 Mile course closes after 12 hours, the 50K after 10 hours, and the relay after 8 hours.

There are three aid stations on course. Each station provides water and Hammer Nutrition Heed electrolyte drink. Available fuel and snacks include GU and Hammer gels, chips, PB&J sandwiches, oranges, bananas, cookies, granola bars, candy bars, and gummies.

Teams and crews may set up tents beyond the finish line and use them as personal aid areas; participants can access team tents after completing each lap. Tent setup is permitted starting at 3pm on the Friday before the event.

The race supports the Cancer Kickers Soccer Club, a nonprofit founded in Memphis in 2016 that provides custom soccer kits for children affected by cancer. A complete kit costs approximately $300 to deliver, and the organization reports more than 3,200 kits delivered to date. Registration includes an option to donate toward that mission.
