Last Mamba Standing - Eads, TN

Last Mamba Standing is a Backyard Ultra event held on private land near Eads, Tennessee. The format uses a repeated loop of 4.167 miles: runners start the loop each hour and must complete it before the hourly cutoff to continue. Missing the cutoff ends that runner's race.

The course is on purpose-built trails that organizers describe as rolling hills and flowing singletrack through largely untouched terrain. The setting is remote with natural features and wildlife present. The event is listed on the official Backyard Ultra International Calendar.

Primitive camping is available the night before the race, Friday, September 25, with camping spots near the start/finish area and by the lake. Organizers will provide porta potties and hand-washing stations. Participants are responsible for their own food, water, and camping supplies.

There are no traditional aid stations on course. Event staff will supply water, Tailwind, and basic trail snacks at the start/finish area. Runners must carry or provide any additional nutrition, gear, or supplies they need.

Awards and items distributed include a single overall champion award created for the winner, finisher medals for those who complete at least one lap, and a race shirt for each registered runner. The event policy states there are no refunds or deferrals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
