Last Mamba Standing
Last Mamba Standing is a Last Man Standing style trail race held on private land in Eads, TN. The format uses a single loop repeated each hour: runners start together each hour, must meet a fixed cutoff to continue, and are eliminated if they miss that cutoff. The event continues until only one runner remains moving.
The course runs on purpose-built, previously unused trails with rolling hills and flowing singletrack through quiet, wooded terrain. Wildlife such as deer may be encountered. The setting is remote and described as removed from the surrounding area.
Primitive camping is available the night before the event near the start/finish area and the lake. Organizers will provide porta potties and hand-washing stations. Campers must bring their own food, water, and camping supplies. Both camping tents and 10x10 canopy tents are permitted.
There are no traditional aid stations on course or at the start/finish. Organizers will supply water, Tailwind, and basic trail snacks. Runners are responsible for carrying any additional nutrition, gear, or supplies they need.
The race is not split by gender; only one overall champion receives the top award. Every runner who completes at least one lap receives a finisher medal, and all registered runners receive a race shirt. There are no refunds or deferrals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
