Last Mamba Standing
Last Mamba Standing is a back yard ultra event held on private land in Eads, Tennessee. The race follows a classic format where participants must complete a single loop every hour. Runners begin a new lap at the start of each hour, and those who fail to return before the next start are removed from the competition. The event continues until only one runner remains.
The course features newly created singletrack trails on undisturbed land. These purpose-built trails consist of rolling hills and natural terrain within a remote, wooded setting. The location is known for its quiet environment and local wildlife.
Participants have access to primitive camping on the Friday night before the event. Camping spots are located near the race start and finish line or by the lake. While porta potties and hand-washing stations are provided, runners must bring their own food, water, and camping gear. Tents and canopy structures are permitted on the grounds.
The race provides minimal support at the start and finish area. Available supplies include:
- Water
- Tailwind
- Basic trail snacks
The event is open to all runners who compete together regardless of gender. Every participant who completes at least one full lap receives a finisher medal and a race shirt. A unique custom award is reserved exclusively for the final person standing at the end of the competition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
