King 7-miler and 1/2 Marathon : Memphis, TN
The event offers two trail distances on the Wolf River Trails in Memphis, Tennessee. The course uses the same loop as the Mamba 100 and is mostly single track, flat and runnable. The Mamba 100 is a 14.3 mile loop; the half marathon loop removes 1.20 miles from that loop.

Course and aid The trail will be marked in advance. Ground marking flags are placed on the right; there are two sections where flags appear on both right and left because runners use the trail in both directions. A fully stocked aid station is located at mile 3.7 and is staffed by North Mississippi Endurance; 7-milers turn around at this aid station and return on the Yellow trail. Half marathon runners will pass this aid station twice, around miles 3.7 and 9.5. The start/finish aid area will have food, cooling towels, fans and ice water.
Logistics Packet pickup is Friday, August 14 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead; same-day pickup is available. Parking is at the trailhead with overflow parking on the grass behind the lot. This is a cup-less race; runners should carry water or use a hydration vest. There are no refunds or roll-over credits. The organizer notes summer heat, humidity and possible storms and reserves the right to postpone or cancel for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
