The 5K Foam Fest - Vancouver, BC

The 5K Foam Fest in Surrey, British Columbia on June 6, 2026 is a five-kilometre obstacle-course fun run held at 17763 62 Ave. The course features more than 25 obstacles, including an inflatable waterslide, mud pits and about 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. Obstacles are optional and participants may walk or run at their own pace.

The event includes a festival area with music, food and local vendors, and a beer garden. A free kids zone for children 6 and under offers a mini inflatable obstacle course and a bounce house; adult supervision is required for the kids zone. Registration includes access to the festival area and items and services such as water stations, a shower station, change rooms, a string bag, a buff, a finisher's medal, a Foam Fest tattoo and a free finish-line photo; course photos are available for purchase.

Age and safety notes: the minimum running age is 7. Children aged 7 to 12 must run with a registered adult; participants aged 13 to 17 may run without an adult but must follow all course rules. Legal guardians must sign waivers for participants under 18. The organizer warns that obstacle-course activity carries risks of injury or death.

There are no refunds on entries or payments; transfer options are available. Corporate and group discounts apply to groups of 10 or more. The event supports Make-A-Wish Canada and had raised CA$5,354.63 for that organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
