Course and Setting

The Larrabee Lakes event takes place in Larrabee State Park near Bellingham, Washington. Runners will travel on trails through green forests, past lakes, and along narrow ridgelines. The courses offer views of Mount Baker and Bellingham Bay. All distances start and finish at Fairhaven Park, beginning on the Interurban Trail.

Race Details

After a start on the Interurban Trail, runners head into Larrabee State Park. The 12K course involves an initial climb before turning back to the finish. The 25K and 50K courses continue onto forested single track. The 50K route includes a significant out-and-back section to the Samish aid station and a climb over a ridge to the west side of the Chuckanut Mountains before rejoining the 25K route along a ridge trail. The 25K route involves stairs and a technical ridge trail. The trails are shared with other users like equestrians, pedestrians, and cyclists. The terrain includes rough, steep, and rocky sections.

Awards and Policies
