Trails to Taps Relay - Bellingham, WA
Trails to Taps Relay is a team relay that routes runners between breweries and cideries around Bellingham. Teams consist of four to eight runners who complete sequential legs and gather at an after party. Costumes are encouraged and participants receive a commemorative pint glass at the finish party.
The course uses trails, roads, and parks and includes multiple brewery stops throughout downtown Bellingham and nearby neighborhoods. Run paces for the event are set for 7 to 13 minute miles, and the event enforces a strict prohibition on illicit substances and on-course consumption of alcohol or cannabis; violations result in disqualification.

Team logistics and fees are managed at registration. Team sizes range from four to eight runners, and registration is completed per team; there is no same-day open registration. Entry fees listed for recent events were $240 per team before August 31 and $280 per team after September 1. Participants must be 21 years or older to take part in the relay, though children are allowed at the after party.
