Event Overview

The Thames Meander Spring is a running event offering three distances along a scenic section of the Thames Path. The start and finish point is at Small Profit Dock Gardens in Barnes, adjacent to the Barnes Sports Club Race HQ.

Course Details

The course is described as fast and flat, following the Thames Path trail. It is an out-and-back route along the Thames, heading across Barnes Bridge towards Kew Gardens and continuing to Petersham. The routes are all on the Thames Path.

Participants can choose from:

  • Marathon: Two 13.1-mile out-and-back loops to Petersham.
  • Half Marathon: One 13.1-mile out-and-back loop to Petersham.
  • 10 km: One out-and-back loop to the Kew Gardens Car Park.

The course will be well marked and marshalled. As it is a public trail, participants should be aware that the route is shared with the public and cyclists.
