The Thames Meander Spring is a riverside running event based at Barnes Sports Club, The Club House, 261 Lonsdale Rd, London SW13 9QL. The next scheduled race is on 08/03/2026. Runners start and finish at Small Profit Dock Gardens (Barnes).

Distances:

  • 10 km - out-and-back to Kew Gardens Car Park (CP2)
  • Half marathon - 13.1 mile out-and-back to Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts (CP3)
  • Marathon - two 13.1 mile out-and-back loops to CP3

Course and support

All routes run along the Thames Path on out-and-back loops that start at Small Profit Dock Gardens. The course is described as flat and will be marked and marshalled along the route. Check Points are located at CP1 Start/Finish (Small Profit Dock Gardens), CP2 Kew Gardens Car Park (Ferry Lane), and CP3 Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts (Douglas House, Meadow Close, Richmond). Check Points will be stocked with foods, gels, drinks, and electrolyte powders. Medical support is provided throughout by the event medical team.
