Freedom Racing - North Downs Ridge 50k

The North Downs Ridge is a fully signed trail ultra held on Sunday 21 February 2027. The route follows sections of the North Downs Way and passes through the Surrey Wildlife Trust reserve of ancient woodland at Norbury Park. The course distance is 50k with a total ascent of 2986 ft. Extra race signage is placed along the long-distance trail.

The event is based at Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking. There are four checkpoints on the route that provide proper food and drinks. All finishers receive a medal featuring the race logo.

Entries open on 21 April 2026 and close on 19 February 2027. The minimum age for entry is 16 and the listed entry fee is £75. The route is described as welcoming and as a suitable distance and elevation for runners new to ultras. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
