Event Overview

This is the fifth edition of the Winter Trail Run at Gatton Park. The event follows the same format as in previous years.

Course Details

The course consists of a 5 km multi-terrain loop within Gatton Park. Participants can choose to run one loop for a 5 km distance or two loops for a 10 km distance. This choice can be made on the day of the event.

Event Day Information

There are two distinct start times. A dedicated Canicross event starts first, followed by the Trail Run. On-site amenities include a bag drop, refreshments, and pre-bookable parking. Race number collection is designed to be quick and easy on the day.

Charity Contribution

A portion of each entry fee, specifically £2, is donated to The Gatton Trust Charity. All fees collected for on-site parking are also donated to this charity.

Entry Fees

Experience the rare heathlands of the Cowdray Estate with trail runs ranging from 3km to 10 miles. This dog friendly event offers a unique journey through the South Downs National Park and protected nature conservation sites.

Trail races on the South Downs Way around Stanmer with 21 km, 14 km and 5 km options. Routes pass Ditchling Beacon and include chip timing, a finisher medal, GPX files and on-course support for the longer distances.

Experience a unique 42km journey starting in the woodland trails of Stanmer Park and the South Downs before joining the road for a grand seaside finish at Hove Lawns.
