Spring 'Run the Seasons' Cowdray - Saturday 11 April 2026
This trail running event takes place at Cowdray Estate and in the South Downs National Park on Saturday 11 April 2026. Courses run across heathland at Ambersham and Heyshott Commons, which are Sites of Special Scientific Interest and a Grade 2 Nature Conservation site. The terrain includes firm, wet and sandy sections and a variety of trails.
Distances offered include:
- 3 km Kids Run (6-11 years)
- 5 km and 5 km CaniRun
- 10 km and 10 km CaniRun
- 10 mile and 10 mile CaniRun
Only the 10 mile and 10 km routes pass through Ambersham and Heyshott Commons. Race headquarters and parking are at Cowdray Farm Shop & Cafe, Midhurst, GU29 0AJ. Maps and route files are provided for each distance and are available via OS Maps and Strava references.
Entry fees noted for 2026 include adult and junior tiers, for example: 5 km £19.50, 10 km £25.50, 10 mile £28.50; kids 3 km £10 and junior 5 km £15. A children’s series runs across Winter, Spring and Summer events; entering all three junior or kids races together attracts a 10% discount and a separate set of series medals.
Dog-friendly rules require dogs to be kept on a harness during the event, with owners responsible for control and considerate overtaking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
