Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend
The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend is a three day running series across East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill in West Sussex. The event returns for its 16th year in 2027 and runs over the Bank Holiday weekend on 1 May, 2 May and 3 May. The course terrain is described as multi terrain and undulating.
Each day features a main town race that together form a full marathon when combined. The programme also includes a chip timed mile for participants aged seven years and over and a family friendly fun run where fancy dress is permitted. A virtual marathon option is available; virtual entries must submit evidence of results and may complete the distance in one or several efforts between 17 April 2027 and 3 May 2027. Submitted virtual results are verified before medals are posted.
Route maps and GPX files are available for competitors to view and download. Event inclusions listed by the organiser include bespoke medals, medals for the mile and fun run, trophies and prizes, and a t shirt for marathon entrants.
