The Maverick Brighton Trail Marathon 2027

The Maverick Brighton Trail Marathon is a 42 km marathon held in Stanmer, Brighton BN1, UK. The route starts in Stanmer Park and follows off-road trails across the South Downs, including woodland sections, chalk ridgelines and valley tracks. The course then joins the Brighton Marathon route for the final approach to Hove Lawns, where the finish area is located and spectators gather. The organiser describes the route combination as a UK first. Event start location is subject to the landlord's consent.

Included for participants are a metal finisher's medal, chip timed results, way marked routes, fully stocked outposts, official photography, a bag drop service and a GPX file of the route. The advertised entry fee is £79. Falmer train station is about a 10 minute walk from the event area and parking is pay and display with a similar walking distance to the start. Race packs can be posted if registration is completed before 15 March. Participants must be 18 or older and must carry a reusable cup for water and nutrition stations.
