The Maverick East Sussex Trail 2026

The Maverick East Sussex Trail is an outdoor trail running event in Stanmer, Brighton BN1, UK on Saturday 11 April 2026. Routes run on sections of the South Downs Way and include rolling hills and undulating trails that pass Ditchling Beacon, offering long-distance views toward London to the north and the coast to the south.

Distances available include:

  • 21 km Half Marathon
  • 14 km Middle
  • 5 km Short

Entry includes a metal finisher's medal, chip-timed results, way-marked routes, fully stocked outposts on the longer courses, official photography, a bag drop area, and a GPX file of the route. The short route has no aid stations; participants on that route must carry a reusable cup.

Falmer train station is about a ten minute walk to the event start and finish area. Parking at the venue is pay and display. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
