Course and logistics

Both the trail and canicross routes are contained entirely within Gatton Park and use multi-terrain surfaces. The route includes steep declines, a weir crossing, a narrow uneven trim trail and varying underfoot conditions. The races are chip timed with a live results service. The course is marked and marshals are present.

Onsite facilities and services include pre-bookable parking (limited, with proceeds to the Gatton Park Trust), secure bag drop, water station, toilets and medical/first aid support. There are post-race goodies, prizes for top finishers and medals for humans and dogs; dog treats are provided. Wheelchair entries and pushchairs are not permitted due to the nature of the route. Dogs are only permitted to take part in the canicross category. There are no showers or changing areas at the venue. Race numbers are dynamically allocated and can be collected on the day.
