Teton Mountaineering Cache Creek to Game Creek Trail Run : July 25, 2026
This event is a point to point trail outing in the Bridger-Teton National Forest that follows Cache Creek to Game Creek. The course covers approximately 11 miles (about 18 km) with a total elevation change of roughly 1,400 feet and reaches Game Creek Divide at about 7,400 feet. The start area is accessed from the upper parking lot of Snow King Resort and the finish is at Game Creek.
Facilities on course include two water stations and porta potties at the start and finish. The event is chip timed. Runners may drop bags at the start for transport to the finish; marked bags are moved in the timing vehicle. Parking at the finish is limited and a timing truck or shuttle van will provide a small number of return rides to the upper lot of Snow King for participants without other transport.
Participants receive an event shirt, a custom finisher medal, a finisher visor, and a custom bib. Awards include top three overall male and female trophies, top three in 10 year age divisions, age division medals including categories for youngest and oldest finishers, and merchandise awards for overall winners. Packet pick up is available the day before at the Teton Mountaineering store and there is morning packet pick up at the start on race day.
Because the course crosses National Forest land, entries are limited to help preserve the trail and environment. Runners are asked to carry out any personal trash and to bring sufficient water for backcountry conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
