Snow King Hill Climb - Jackson, WY

The Snow King Hill Climb is a trail race held on July 26, 2026, in Jackson, Wyoming. The route covers 3 miles and climbs 1,535 feet from Phil Baux Park at the base of Snow King to the summit road, finishing at the top of the gondola.

The course proceeds through Phil Baux Park, passes the lower magic carpet, climbs from the base of Rafferty to the summit road, and offers mountain views near the finish. Runners receive a free gondola ride down after the race.

Participants are asked to carry their own hydration and food; organizers will provide some water and light food at the top. Drop bags may be left at registration and brought up the gondola at the finish; runners must supply their own bag and note that organizers are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Awards are planned at the summit, weather permitting. Prizes will be given to the top three men and top three women, and a selection of age group top finisher awards will be presented. Entry fee is $40, and registration before July 19 secures a t-shirt in the participant's size.

The 2026 event is produced by Teton Trail Runners in collaboration with Jackson Hole Running Club, with presenting sponsors Snow King Mountain, Stio, Arc'teryx, and Skinny Skis. Experience trail running in the Bridger Teton National Forest with races ranging from 15K to 50K. Runners enjoy views of the Grand Teton and mountain wildflowers while spectators utilize local gondolas to follow the action.

An 18 km point to point trail run from Cache Creek to Game Creek in Bridger-Teton National Forest on July 25, 2026. The course is chip timed and offers an event shirt, finisher medal and limited shuttle support back to Snow King.

Annual nonprofit uphill race at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort that climbs about 6.1 miles and 4,100 feet to the Aerial Tram summit via the Wildflower and Cirque Trails. Proceeds support the trails division of Friends of Pathways.
