Snow King Hill Climb

Snow King Hill Climb is a mountain trail race in Jackson, Wyoming, held at Snow King and centered on Phil Baux Park. The course covers 3 miles and climbs 1,535 vertical feet, beginning at the base of Snow King, continuing through Phil Baux Park and past the lower magic carpet, then ascending from the base of Rafferty to the summit road and finishing at the top of the Gondola.

Entry fee is $40. Race day registration and bib pickup are available in the morning. Participants who register before July 19 are guaranteed a t-shirt in their size. Runners receive a free gondola ride down after the race.

Competitors should carry their own hydration and food; some water and light food will be available at the summit. Weather and wildlife conditions can vary, so participants are expected to prepare accordingly. Drop bags may be left at registration and will be brought up by gondola to the finish; participants must supply their own bag and understand organizers are not responsible for lost or damaged items, though staff will attempt to deliver bags to the finish.

Awards are planned at the summit, weather permitting. Prizes include top three male and female overall and several age group top finisher awards. Organizers include local running and parks groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
