John Wayne Grit Series - Jackson Hole
The event takes place on August 22, 2026 at Turpin Meadow Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, near the entrances to Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. The course uses rugged dirt roads and single track trails through forested sections of the Bridger-Teton National Forest and offers views of the Grand Tetons and the Buffalo Fork River. Packet pickup is located at Red Cliffs Lodge, where parking is free; there is no parking at the start and finish area and a shuttle will transport participants to the start line approximately three miles away. Cancer survivors who register receive a complimentary yellow bandana at packet pickup while supplies last.
The event includes a race component with podium prizes: three female and three male winners for each course. Merchandise will be available for sale at the event.
