Tap Root Fields Strawberry Family Fun Run/Walk

Tap Root Fields Strawberry Family Fun Run/Walk is a self timed event held at Tap Root Fields in Skaneateles, New York. The event is open to all ages and abilities; participants may walk, jog, or run at their own pace while spending time outdoors.

The course travels around open fields and through newly established trails on the property. Three mapped trail options are available:

• 3 Mile Loop (approx)
• 1 Mile Loop (approx)
• 0.5 Mile Loop (approx)

Trail surfaces include wood chipped paths and open field sections with varying grades. The 3 Mile Loop includes hills and is not stroller, walker, or wheelchair friendly. The 1 Mile Loop and the 0.5 Mile Loop feature mixed terrain and may be manageable with a rugged stroller; the 0.5 Mile Loop is mainly flat. A leisurely option allows participants to explore their own route.

On site amenities and activities include picnic tables or blanket seating areas, a bounce house for children, open space for frisbee or football, strawberry infused refreshments, and fresh berries. Pets are not permitted at the event.
