Tail Wagger Tahoe Vista

Tail Wagger Tahoe Vista is the fourth annual dog-friendly event presented as part of the Tail Wagger series. It takes place Saturday, May 30, 2026, at North Tahoe Regional Park, 6600 Donner Road, Tahoe Vista, CA. The event uses scenic venues with diverse trail networks and includes an expo and non-competitive activities for both humans and dogs. Separate starts are offered for human-only participants.

Fees for the Tahoe Vista event (early price listed with cutoff by 5/29): 5K Dog and Human $65.00; 5K Human Only $60.00; 5K Additional Dog $10.00; 1 Mile Dog and Human $55.00; 1 Mile Human Only $50.00.

Included with registration are an event T-shirt, a doggy bandana, a finishing prize, beverages (including Alibi Ale Works), awards for the top three, and treats for both humans and canines. The Pet Network Humane Society is associated with the event and is running a fundraiser to support local animal rescue, adoption and fostering efforts, and its AAHA-accredited Pet Network Community Hospital.
