Olympic Valley Half Marathon

Olympic Valley Half Marathon (June 13, 2026)

The event offers three race options: a half marathon, an 8 miler, and a 5K, all starting and finishing at The Village at Palisades Tahoe. Runners follow paved sections of the Truckee River Trail on an out-and-back route through the valley. The courses are described as relatively fast and flat and pass along the Truckee River.

One course distance is noted as approximately 7.88 miles. Participants may see local wildlife along the route, including bald eagles, mule deer, and trout. The event includes multiple aid stations stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, and a variety of fruit and snacks. Medical staff are present on site.
