Broken Arrow Skyrace

The Broken Arrow Skyrace is a four day mountain running event held at Palisades Tahoe in Lake Tahoe, California, on June 18–21, 2026. The event stages multiple mountain distances on terrain that is largely above the tree line and includes technical off trail sections, steep slabs, potential snow slopes, scree, exposed ridgelines, hand lines, a ladder, and a via ferrata section on one course.

Several distances have field limits and entry fees. Examples include the Ascent (field limited to 600), the 11K (limited to 600), the 46K (limited to 800), the Triple Crown (limited to 200), the Iron Crown (limited to 25), and the Iron Face Challenge (limited to 100). Age or weight minimums apply to specific distances; for example, the Ascent has a 14 year minimum with exceptions, many longer distances require participants to be 18 or older, and the Iron Face requires a minimum weight of 88 pounds.

Prize money is allocated to elite results in the Ascent, 23K, and 46K, with payouts distributed to top finishers and subject to anti doping clearance.
