Symonds Yat Super Looper

The Symonds Yat Super Looper is a six-hour trail running event held at Symonds Yat on Saturday 13 March 2027. Participants run repeated loops of a marked 5.25 km trail that gains about 160 m of elevation per loop and finishes at the event HQ by the Symonds Yat car park. Each loop includes technical underfoot sections, over 100 steps, a steep local climb that reaches the Symonds Yat viewpoint and trig point, and riverside flat sections.

The event uses electronic scoring but runners must sign in at HQ after each loop and may not run past the registration point without signing. The event is a mass start. Pacers are not allowed; support teams are permitted and may be stationed in the HQ car park. A well stocked aid station provides food, drink and electrolytes during the event, and the route runs past the cafe and toilets.

Entry costs £55 plus VAT and includes event HQ, a marked course, aid station, free event merchandise, a unique finishers medal with additional loop rings, free event photos, professional timing and on-site medical and physio support. A share of registration fees supports Forestry England’s work in the forest and local site management. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
