The Surrey Hills Half Marathon is a guided trail half marathon that starts and finishes in Guildford, Surrey. The advertised distance is 13 miles. The route includes sections of the North Downs Way and always visits St Martha's Church and hill; other sections change from date to date. Noted points on the route include the village of Shere, Newlands Corner, and Hackhurst Downs. The event is run as a group rather than as a race.

Meeting point is St Martha's Hill, Guildford, Surrey. The cost is £25 per person. A car park is available and the meeting location is a short run or taxi ride from a train station. Participants are asked to have a suitable fitness level and to be able to comfortably maintain an average pace of 10 min/miles | 6 min/km for prolonged periods on trail. The organiser provides a full kit list before the run; Silva head torches are available for evening runs and Salomon trail shoes can be trialled. The guide is an experienced trail and ultra runner, mountain leader, qualified guide, coach, and ambassador for Salomon and Suunto.
