This is a guided trail half marathon starting and finishing in Guildford, Surrey. The event takes place on Saturday 21 March 2026 and Wednesday 3 June 2026. The listed meeting point is St Martha's Hill, Guildford. The distance is 13 miles. The entry cost is £25 per person. The run is organised as a group experience rather than a race; participants should be able to sustain an average pace of about 10 min/mile (6 min/km) on trail for prolonged periods.

Route

The route goes through parts of the Surrey Hills and includes sections of the North Downs Way. Regular highlights named for the route include St Martha's Church and hill, the village of Shere, Newlands Corner, and Hackhurst Downs. The exact course can change between dates, but St Martha's Church and the North Downs Way are visited on every outing.

Logistics and requirements

A car park is available at the meeting area. The location is a short run or taxi ride from a train station. A full kit list will be provided before the run. Silva head torches are available for the evening run and Salomon trail shoes can be trialled. Organisers note an alcohol-free beer may be available at the end, subject to availability.
