Sunshine Camp Trail Mix & Beer Fest

The Sunshine Camp Trail Mix & Beer Fest is a trail race held at the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp in Rush, New York. This event takes place on a private 157-acre campus that is typically not open to the general public. The course consists of a 5K route that features a combination of natural dirt trails and paved sidewalks.

Participants can choose from two registration options:

  • 5K Trail Race (including Beer Fest entry)
  • 5K Trail Race (for participants under 21 years old)

To maintain the condition of the campus trails, the timed race is limited to the first 300 registered participants. Registration includes a t-shirt and eligibility for prizes within specific race divisions. For those of legal age, registration also provides entry to the Beer Fest held on-site, which includes an initial beverage.

Proceeds from the event support the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp. This facility provides fully accessible summer camping experiences for children and young adults with disabilities, offering overnight programs designed to eliminate barriers to outdoor recreation. This year marks the sixth annual edition of the trail race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
