The Summit Trail Running Series is a set of six trail races held across Summit County, Colorado. Events use trail heads in Frisco, Breckenridge, Dillon, Silverthorne, Copper Mountain, and Arapahoe Basin.

Trail runs nearby

A 20K run clockwise around Turquoise Lake near Leadville, CO, mixing 6.5 miles of hilly paved road with 5.5 miles of single track trail, with proceeds supporting Leadville youth athletics and a nominal day use parking fee.

A 5K trail run at the Leadville National Fish Hatchery with a cross country style route through subalpine forest around Evergreen Lakes and lower Rock Creek. Adults $15; youth 17 and under free.

Prepare for the Race Across the Sky at this three day training camp in Leadville. Run key sections of the 100 mile course alongside veteran guides and attend educational panels on nutrition and biomechanics.

Trail 10K and 5K races in Beaver Creek on June 20, 2026 with a kids run, aid stations, post race food and age group awards. The event benefits the Vail Valley Charitable Fund.
