Suffer Better Fall Trail Run

Pine, United States • 11 Oct 2025

Suffer Better Fall Trail Runs take place at Staunton State Park, just off Highway 285 near Conifer, Colorado. The event offers four distances: 50K, 25K, a 25K FishSlappers edition, and a new 5K. The course showcases CO’s best trails—lovely, flowing singletrack with significant vertical gain (roughly 4,915 feet for the 50K and about 2,264 feet for the 25K).

The day is described as a fun, challenging trail-running fundraiser for Conservation Colorado and Running Rivers, with a bottle-free policy, multiple aid stations, and scenic mountainside terrain. A quirky FishSlappers division adds pond fishing, prizes, and a haiku contest, supporting conservation. Participants help fund conservation and water-protection initiatives.
